Therapeutic Indications:
- Tumor Osteolysis.
- Multiple myeloma.
- Primary hyperparathyroidism.
- Prevention and treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis.
Pharmacotherapeutic group: Drugs affecting bone structure and mineralization.
Clodronate is mainly excreted by the kidneys. Therefore, during the treatment with clodronate it is necessary to ensure adequate moisture absorption.
Instructions for use
DIFOSFONAL 300 mg / 10 ml concentrate for solution for infusion contains 54 mg sodium per dose. This medicine is for intravenous use only.
This should be taken into account when administering to patients with reduced kidney function or on a controlled sodium diet.
