Triamcinolonacetonide crème 1mg/g 30g
Triamcinoloneacetonide is registered for human use and is widely used in various dermatological conditions. In particular, it is prescribed to treat eczema, seborrheic eczema, itching, psoriasis, photosensitivity and other skin problems associated with inflammatory reactions. However, the drug does not cure the underlying condition causing the symptoms.
The active substance in this product is triamcinolone acetonide. The other substances in this product are cetostearyl alcohol, cetomacrogol 1000, decyloleate, sorbitol, sorbic acid (preservative, in amount of 2 mg per gram of cream) and purified water.
Veterinary advice
Corticosteroids, such as triamcinolone acetonide, are among the substances banned on race days. However, the use of these substances is allowed for the treatment of diagnosed and indicated conditions during training. It is the trainer's responsibility to ensure that the horse is free of banned substances on race days.
