Composition
Acepromazine injectable 5 mg/ml
Indications
Tranquillization, pre-aenesthesia.
Dosage and administration
Intramuscular and intravenous administrations.
- Horses:
Mild tranquillization or pre-aenesthesia : I.M. administration : 0,05 mg of Acepromazine per kg of b.w., i.e. 1 ml of CALMIVET®/100 kg of b.w.
Forced tranquillization : I.V. administration : up to 0,10 mg of Acepromazine per kg of b.w., i.e. 2 ml of CALMIVET®/100 kg of b.w. I.M. administration : 0,20 mg of Acepromazine per kg of b.w., i.e. 4 ml of CALMIVET®/100 kg of b.w.
- Dogs, cats :
Mild tranquillization or pre-aenesthesia, I.V. or I.M. administrations : 2.5 mg of Acepromazine per 10 kg of b.w., i.e. 0.5 ml of CALMIVET®/10kg of b.w.
Forced tranquillization, I.V. or I.M. administrations : 5 mg of Acepromazine per 10 kg of b.w., i.e. 1 ml of CALMIVET®/10 kg of b.w.
