Fatrocortin is an injectable solution of dexamethasone 1 mg/ml.
Dexamethasone is a synthetic corticosteroid derivative. Its activity is approximately 20 times greater than that of prednisolone.
IndicationsFatrocortin can be used in the case of ketosis, inflammation (arthritis, arthrosynovitis, tendinitis, bursitis, etc.), pig oedema disease, dermatitis, pruritus, allergies, and inflammation and stress control during bacterial disease and acute bovine and porcine mastitis (in association with antibiotic treatment).
Indicaciones de uso
The dosage for horses and cattle is 10 ml (0.02-0.04 mg/kg), for calves, foals and swine the dosage is 5ml (0.05-0.1 mg/kg), for piglets the dosage is 0.5-1 ml (0.05-0.2 mg/kg) and for cats and dogs the dosage is 0.5 - 1 ml (0.05-0.2 mg/kg). Fatrocortin is intended for singular administration, but can eventually be repeated once after a period of 24 hours.Dexamethasone 1 mg/ml
