Artilium Complete is a supplemental feed for horses to support joints and cartilage. In the improved formula, the maltodextrin has been replaced with additional collagen.
This ensures that less Artilium Complete is needed to provide the same amount of active ingredients. The combination of all ingredients (view ingredients here) contributes to supple joints and healthy cartilage.
Artilium Complete is ideal for horses that are intensively trained, competition horses and older horses.

Horse Vets work in all parts of the world, with all types of Equids: from million-dollar racehorses to the working donkeys and horses in Third World countries. The veterinary work focusing on working equines might not get a lot of coverage in magazines and journals, but that says nothing about the importance of the work.
Administering omeprazole granules can be challenging. The unique method of administration of Equizol, makes it an excellent addition to treatment options for gastric ulcers. Equizol is an omeprazole granulate that horse owners can easily administer themselves.
Stomach ulcers in sport horses
Grovet's Equizol is an omeprazole granulate for the treatment of gastric ulcers in horses. Stomach ulcers are very common in sport horses, with a prevalence of about 90% in both racehorses in training and high-level endurance horses. A lower (58%) prevalence of gastric ulcers has been reported in competition horses in other disciplines, and it is frequently found even in horses that are trained intensively (53%).
Inhibition of gastric acid production is considered the therapeutic basis of the treatment of gastric ulcers in horses. Omeprazole is the drug of choice for this purpose.
Our colleagues Michelle and Sylvia attended last month the 11th edition of EEHNC in Gent for the workshop "update on claims and legislation" for equine nutrition. It was a very useful workshop for our colleagues Michelle and Sylvia responsible for equine nutrition and claims at Grovet. The EEHNC is an international congress focused on equine health and nutrition. We look forward to next year's edition.
A great success for Grovet! The GDP certificate for human medicines has been obtained. These developments allow us to bring the quality of our products to maximum patient safety. At Grovet we strive for continuous improvement, this is a big step.
For the health of the foal, it is very important that sufficient immunoglobulins are absorbed from colostrum in the first hours of life. To determine whether this has happened sufficiently, the amount of IgG in the blood is determined. VMRD has developed an IgG test that provides reliable, objective test results. This allows for appropriate therapy to be initiated in time so that the foal receives sufficient antibodies to protect itself from infection. The test strips do not need to be refrigerated and can be used with the VMRD reader that is also used for SAA determination.
