Composition
Procaine benzylpenicillin 300 mg/ml
Indications
To treat bacterial infectious diseases caused by pathogens sensitive to benzylpenicillin
Dosage and administration
I.M. injection
Cattle: 20 mg of Procaine benzylpenicillin per kg of body weight, corresponding to 1 ml Procapen per 15 kg of body weight. There should not be injected more than 20 ml per injection site.
Calves: 15-20 mg of Procaine benzylpenicillin per kg of body weight, corresponding to 0.75-1 ml Procapen per 15 kg of body weight. There should not be injected more than 20 ml per injection site.
Pigs: 20 mg of Procaine benzylpenicillin per kg of body weight, corresponding to 1 ml Procapen per 15 kg of body weight. There should not be injected more than 10 ml per injection site.
Horses: 15 mg of Procaine benzylpenicillin per kg of body weight, corresponding to 0.5 ml Procapen per 10 kg of body weight. There should not be injected more than 20 ml per injection site.
The duration of the treatment is of three days, with one injection every 24 hours.
