ABSORBINE VETERINARY LINIMENT
Liniment Active Ingredient(s): Menthol 1.27%. Also contains plant extracts of Calendula, Echinacea and Wormwood; Acetone, Chloroxylenol, FD&C Blue No. 1, FD&C Yellow No. 6, Iodine, Potassium Iodide, Thymol, Wormwood Oil and Water. Indications: Aids in the relief of temporary muscular soreness, stiffness or swelling caused by exposure, overwork or exertion. Stimulates circulation in the area where applied. Acts as a bracer and tightener. Treats superficial cuts and abrasions. '
Indications d'utilisation
Dosage and Administration: Legs: For relief of temporary muscular soreness and stiffness of the legs, rub ABSORBINE® Liniment in thoroughly. Apply three or more times during the day. To speed up effectiveness wring out a sponge in hot water and hold to the affected area. Repeat for 10 minutes to steam the pores open. Rub dry. Next apply enough ABSORBINE® Liniment to wet the skin. Rub in well. Apply three or more times daily. Setting Up: Professional trainers recommend “Setting Up” for horses that have temporary leg swelling and muscular stiffness after a workout. After the day's workout “Set Up” by applying ABSORBINE® Liniment to all four legs and wrap lightly. Be careful of bandaging too tightly. Back, Loin and Shoulder: For relief of soreness and stiffness rub ABSORBINE® Liniment in thoroughly. Apply 3 or more times daily. To speed up effectiveness, steam pores open first with a heavy towel wrung out in hot water. Rub dry and apply ABSORBINE® Liniment. Cover with heavy blanket. Repeat three or four times daily. Take care to protect the horse from drafts Body Wash: To make a good body wash mix 4 ounces of ABSORBINE® Liniment with 24 ounces of water and 8 ounces of vinegar. A daily wash helps horses cool out and stay supple. Precaution(s): Danger-Extremely flammable. Keep away from fire, sparks and heated surfaces. Caution(s): Replace cap firmly. For external use on livestock. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. Do not apply to irritated skin. If excessive develops, discontinue use and consult a veterinarian. In long standing cases or those not responding to treatment, or in case of puncture or deep wounds, consult a veterinarian. If you rub - don't wrap. Warning(s): Keep out of reach of children.
