Deltamethrin for ectoparasite control in cattle and sheep.
Indications
For the control of ectoparasitic infestations in cattle and sheep caused by ticks, lice, flies and keds.
Composition
Deltamethrin 7,5 mg/ml
Dosage and administration
Cattle:
- Prevention and treatment of flies on calves and other cattle: up to 100 kg of body weight: 10ml, 100 kg to 300 kg of body weight: 20 ml, more than 300 kg of body weight: 30 ml. A single application provides protection against flies for 8 to 10 weeks.
- Prevention and treatment of lice on calves and adult cattle: up to 500 kg of body weight: 10 ml, more than 500 kg: 20 ml. A single application is usually sufficient.
- Prevention and treatment of ticks: 15 ml per 100 kg of body weight. Not more than 75 ml per animal. A single application provides protection against ticks for 4-5 weeks.
Sheep:
- Prevention and treatment of lice: 10 ml. A single application is usually sufficient.
- Prevention and treatment of ticks: 15 ml per 100 kg of body weight. A single application provides protection against ticks for 4-5 weeks.
