Longswab
Long swab designed for nasal and nasopharyngeal swabs in horses; 40 cm long. Safer to use compared to common 15cm swabs and more appropriate than uterine swabs. Required by vets, developed by a vet. Now, uterine swabs are no longer needed for sampling in cases of respiratory disorders.
Sterile and individually wrapped.
Indications d'utilisation
- Remove the swab from the package.
- Take a sample for a microbiological examination.
- Insert the swab into the test tube with the transport medium (not included in the packaging).
After closing the tube and marking it, the sample is ready to be sent for the laboratory examination.
Conseils vétérinaires
Veterinary technical device. For animals only. For professional use only. Do not use the product repeatedly or after the expiry date.
Store the swab at 5-30 °C and the relative air humidity up to 75%. Avoid temperature fluctuations (overheating, freezing).
Do not use the swab in case of damage to the primary packaging or damage or loosening of the joint of the sampling swab with the tube.
