Composition
Ampicillin trihydrate 200 mg/ml
Indications
Cattle:
-Respiratory infections caused by Pasteurella spp, Klebsiella spp, E-packages and Streptococcus spp...;
-Urinary infections caused by Gram-negative bacteria;
-Mastitis caused by Enterobacteriaceae.
Pig:
-Respiratory infections caused by Gram-negative and Gram-positive ampicillin sensitive bacteria such as Pasteurella spp, Streptococcus spp, Haemophylus spp..;
-Gastro-intestinal infections caused by E. coli;
-Urinary infections caused by E. coli and Corynebacterium suis.
Dog and cat:
-Respiratory infections caused by hemolytic streptococci, Staphylococcus aureus, E. coli, Pasteurella spp. and Proteus spp.;
-Urinary infections caused by Proteus spp, E. coli and Gram-positive cocci.;
-Gastro-intestinal infections caused by E. coli and Gram-positive cocci;
-Skin and wound infections caused by Gram-positive cocci.
Dosage and route for administration
Intramuscular injection:
Cattle: 20 mg ampicillin per kg b.w. twice daily for 3-5 days.
Pigs : 20 mg ampicillin per kg b.w. daily for 3-5 days.
Dogs, cats : 20-30 mg per kg b.w. twice daily during minimal 5 days
