Phenylbutazon gel PH 100 mg/ml 250 ml
Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) for the short-term treatment of pain and fever in animals.
Gel for horses, ponies (not authorised for use in food-producing animals) and dogs.
Indications d'utilisation
Oral administration. Can be administered with a syringe or with the dosing injector.
Shake before use.
Horse: 2 x 4.5 mg phenylbutazone per kg body weight on day 1 as the initial dose (corresponding to 2 x 22.5 ml at 500 kg) and 2 x 2.5 mg phenylbutazone per kg bodyeweight as a maintenance dose (corresponding to 2 x 12.5 ml at 500 kg). The duration of treatment
should not exceed 7 days.
Pony:
2 x 4.5 mg phenylbutazone per kg body weight (bw) on day 1 as the initial dose (corresponding to 2 x 9 ml at 200 kg) and 3.5 mg phenylbutazone per kg bw as a maintenance dose (corresponding to 7 ml at 200 kg). The duration of treatment should not exceed 7 days.
